How profiles work
Published biographies identify a person’s field and connection to South Africa. Material factual claims are linked to numbered sources so readers can check the evidence. Dates, career details and contributions appear when the available records support them. A “Last reviewed” date appears only after an actual editorial review.
Readers can search published profiles by name, occupation and category, browse the A–Z directory, or explore Living, Historical and Next Generation. Records that have not completed editorial verification are not published in the directory.
