Beluluane Gas Company

Beluluane Gas Company is a Mozambique-registered project company with a concession to develop a proposed LNG import terminal at Matola harbour and related pipeline infrastructure.

Beluluane Gas Company (BGC) says it holds a concession to import LNG at Matola harbour and develop a floating storage and regasification unit, marine facilities and pipelines connecting to the Beluluane Industrial Park. The project is proposed infrastructure; BGC’s public project page does not describe an operating LNG terminal. [1]

History

BGC’s published milestone list records the concession award in 2019 and completion of onshore and offshore front-end engineering design in 2021. The current public page also lists commercial agreement work as in progress but gives no updated final investment decision or commissioning date. [1]
